What is Lakeside Creative Arts Centre?

LCAC is a development of the existing Lakeside Methodist Church. The Centre aims to connect with the community to offer a place for art, spirituality and mental wellbeing for all ages. 

The space will be used for exhibitions and performances, workshops, activities and worship. 

The Centre is also available as a venue for hire, offering a range of facilities to meet your needs, get in touch with us to discuss this further. The location offers a fantastic chance to combine the beautiful natural surroundings of Newmillerdam Country Park with a space for meeting or activities.

The building itself is going to be undergoing some refurbishment and alteration work to make the interior a flexible space for a variety of uses. The outside area too will be transformed into a space for contemplation, relaxation and nature based activities.

We are looking for anyone who would like to be involved to get in touch with us. 

We need-

• volunteers to help run sessions
• organisations to partner with 
• artists who would like to exhibit or run workshops
• performers looking for a venue or wanting to take part in one of our events
• local groups looking for a venue to hire
• volunteers to help with the garden area project
• anyone who wants to be involved
